Hermanos Aguilera has more than 60 years of experience being the leader of the textile industry.
It all started in the year 1932 with visionary Alfonso Maria Aguilera Padilla whom, with just a couple of wooden swing looms began to produce rubber bands for the overalls of workers and bands for machines. The first company was called Elastic Tapes S.A. and its brand was WADA.
Around the year of 1934 a second company named "the Josefina" was created to manufacture ribbons and braided cords, it was led by Alfonso Aguilera Alba and it grew to become one of the most important on it's industrial branch.
In the year of 1953 Alfonso Aguilera Alba created a new company that would bring all the others toghether, this company was named, and is still named to this day Hermanos Aguilera S. de R.L.
How it all Started
Today, with the experience of 70 years and four generations, we manufacture a wide range of tapes with the latest technology and unsurpassed quality, which has given us a reputation and recognition of excellence both nationally and internationally.
